Tested today with FR...BFN :(
I had such a good feeling this month too! I got my first smiley, DTD, and nada...zilch. I didn't even get one lousy symthom!!! Blahhhh.

It's still VERY VERY VERY VERY early for you to be testing... wait until Sunday or Monday the earliest.

Really??? I hope your right. I got my smiley 13 days ago....The morning of the 28th.
I guess that could potentially mean I am 10 or 11 DPO. How many DPO do you recommend testing?

So AF is really due tomorrow? Your date shows as 3/18, if AF is due 3/18 you'd be more like 9 dpo, which is still really early. If you are 13 dpo, then AF is due tomorrow or Saturday, and that isn't too early.

AF is def due the 18th assuming it is regular this month... Could I have gotten my smiley early or is it possible that my luteal phase is longer than 14 days??? That is something I have been a little confused about.

LP is on average from 11-15 days, that doesn't really change much - your O date could change. But if you got your smiley (I dont' use the smileys, I use the CBEFM, so I get low, high and peak) then you probably O'ed within a day, so your AF should be due around the 15th or th 16th, NOT the 18th.
But maybe someone who uses the smiley style of OPK/Monitor could provide better insight.

Are you using a tracking ap? Ovia or Fertility friend are both very helpful with this sort of thing, it does the calculations for you.

It says the 4th. I got a smiley the 28th though. So I'm thinking I likely ovulated the 1st or 2nd. Should FF have automatically updated after I logged the opk reading? If so, I wonder why it didn't???

If you O'ed on the 1st or 2nd, then you are due for AF on the 15th or 16th, NOT the 18th. the 18th date of AF being due is based on O'ing on the 4th.

Are you temping? If not, change your detection method to "opk/monitor" instead of "advanced' and see what happens.
