Mark Lewis Tax Grievance?
Has anyone used them? Any pros/cons? Comments?
Thanks.

Cindy - look at the Potentially Related Topics: at the bottom and choose the second one - I knew there was a thread about this last year when I had just moved into our house.

Re: Mark Lewis Tax Grievance?
I just completed the application on-line a few weeks ago and already got a letter in the mail that they accepted it.
IMO you have nothing to lose.
If you do a search on here, a lot of girls have used this service and were satisfied with the results.

We used them - saved us a ton of money. Sure, I could have done it myself, but this past year was hell...no time or patience to deal w/it, so it was MUCH easier giving it to someone else to do.

Re: Mark Lewis Tax Grievance?
we won our greivance with them this year. Ours were lowered $1500. They charge half of what your taxes get reduced by, if you don't pay it all at one time its more. Check their website all the details are there.

I think I am going to use them. If they don't think that you can win, they won't approve your application. And you only pay if you win the grievance, so IMO its worth it.

Re: Mark Lewis Tax Grievance?
I just got our official letter with all the details. We won. Our old assesment was 2840-new is 2350
Actual annual tax dollar savings $1,383.12
Total fee to Mark Lewis due by Jan 26 $766.56-that included a $75 appraisal fee-nobody came inside me house, I never even saw anyone here at all.
I applied by fax last March, spoke to someone there once for less than a minute to confirm they got my application. I got a postcard several weeks later saying our case was accepted, a letter a couple of months later saying we won & now this letter. That's all nothing else.
