Martial arts uniform?
I found the place I want ds to go to but
The uniform is 50 dollars , 30 dollars more than many other places. Is this reasonable? What did you pay? The classes are 2x a week 140 a month. The monthly fee is pretty average I think.

Exact same numbers where DD goes. I'm guessing we may be at the same school.
I can say the uniform has fit her for 2 years now. She probably has another 6 months to a year in it. I spend far more than that each year on all the dance clothes she wears and everything she needs for soccer.

First month was $99 and it included the uniform. When we had to get them a new uniform I don't think it was even 50 bucks to replace. Monthly is 120 but there are deals is you do it for 3 months and 6 months.

I am surprised the uniform isn't included when you first sign up, I thought that was pretty standard?
I just had to buy DD a black uniform since she got her purple belt and it was $40. Otherwise, she wore her white uniform for a solid year with no issues.
ETA: That monthly fee seems crazy high to me. We pay under $90 a month and she can go 2-3x a week.

She goes to Shaolin in Bayport but they have a bunch of locations all over the island.
ETA: I also sign her up for the 6 month program, so the monthly cost is less than if you did 1 or 3 months at a time.

I think all those studios - be it dance or sport - always throw in those little uniform charges on top of all the other fees. 
Ours was $40. And of course, he only went for one semester... BTW, I am trying to sell it, so let me know if you are interested. It is all white, size small, for ages 5-7 I would say, depending on the child.

Just checked with the Shaolin by me - $140 per month plus belt ceremonies!!!
