Mary-Kate/Massage Therapist don't dial 911?

OK, I think sometimes people don't know how to respond in a panic, crisis situation, but if I were that massage therapist (from Andrea!), I hope I would have known better and called 911...not Mary Kate Olsen, even if they were dating. Supposedly, the personal security Mary Kate sent over was also an EMT...but still. Here's something I found at sociatelite.com:




Weirdness in the Heath Ledger case, according to Page Six. Also signs that people need to relax around celebrity and maybe watch a few PSA's on what to do in an emergency. Reports are now stating that the masseusse who discovered Heath Ledger's body, Diane Lee Wolozin, called Mary-Kate Olsen twice when she discovered Heath's lifeless body on Tuesday. And oddly, neither of them called 911 at first. Uh, hello? Wolozin says that Mary-Kate and Heath were dating, and that she punched Mary-Kate's button in Heath's cell phone when the actor wouldn't respond to her attempt to wake him. She also says that she had a "relationship" with both Heath and Mary-Kate. Okay, so she's masseuse to the stars. Fine. In the first call, Ms. Wolozin screamed to Mark-Kate that Heath was unconscious and she didn't know what to do. Uh, call 911?

Mary-Kate told her that she was sending her private security over. Uh, call 911? I don't care if someone is a celebrity and their drug problem, multiple personality disorder, or tendency to wear corsets and heels is exposed, - we still want em' to live, call 911! She called Mary-Kate again saying Heath was cold to the touch and she thought he was dead. Mary-Kate responded "I already have people coming over." Uh, were those people EMT's? Heath is believed to have already been dead when Wolozin found him, according to officals, but what the hell? Didn't anyone else attend first grade here? DIAL 911 when things like this happen!

It jut makes me realize what a sad out of touch world it really is to be a celebrity. I guess regular people think to call 911 first but celebs or anyone who is tied into their world thinks "damage control" as the first thing to do.

I have a feeling perhaps he was already gone, but still..."I'm sending over my security?" WHAAA??? I'd call Michelle Williams before the new supposed girlfriend...eh, what can you do?

And if they were dating, how do you not stop what you're doing and go tend to him yourself?

If God forbid something happened to my loved one, you bet your *** I'd not only dial 9-1-1, but I'd also run over there quicker than lightening!

It sounds as though he was dead already but still. Was there ever a reason given for Michelle and Heath's breakup? I am sure not matter Michelle and his family are devasted and hearing this is awful. So sad, for him, his family.

I guess Mary Kate missed that day in school when they covered calling 911. The masseusse as well..morons.

They think their personal security will get there quicker than the ambulance.

The press keeps referring to her as a "masseuse"...It's "massage therapist"! Sorry, I am one-LOL!
..and what ticks me off even more is that I wasn't Heath Ledger's massage therapist...betcha I would have called 911 first!

Celebrities do some stupid $hit, but this takes the cake. You find someone unconscious and you call his girlfriend first???????

And then she turns around and calls her 'private security'???? HELLLOOOOOOO?!?!?!?

We'll never if those precious wasted minutes could have meant the difference between life and death for poor Heath.

I just feel so heartbroken for his family, especially his little girl who'll only really know him through pictures/stories...so sad.

seriously these people just do not think. Call 911, deal with whatever later. I cannot stand Mary Kate Olsen to begin with and now this just proves she is a complete bobble head, totally useless.

Mary-Kate Olsen to Be Grilled by Police Over Heath Ledger Calls

Police are planning to question Mary-Kate Olsen about the three frantic calls Heath Ledger's masseuse made to her before phoning 911.

The unlicensed masseuse, Diane Lee Wolozin, called Olsen a fourth time after paramedics arrived.

Police want to know her account of the cell phone calls she received from Wolozin, the New York Post reports.

Police also want to know why Olsen sent a team of bodyguards to the apartment.

I'm glad the police are going to question her. How freaking stupidly irresponsible of them both to NOT immediately call 911.
