Re: masters degree
there are so many schools with teacher certficiation prgroams. i strongly suggest gettign a dual certification (perhaps Childhood Ed. AND special ed. for example).
SUNY or CUNY schools will be your cheapest bet. Baruch, Hunter, Queens College, Old Westbury all of programs for example.
Also, one more thing for you to consider. Fordham, Molloy and St. John's ALL offer a 30% discount on their programs to Catholic school teachers. you mgiht want to look into that. I went to Fordham and i was very happy with the program and a friend of mine is in the program at Molloy and loves it.
GOOD LUCK!

Re: masters degree
Molloy has a Masters in Education, which gives you teaching certification. they have several areas of certification you can get. I am assuming that's what you want (a Masters in Ed.?)
