Math stuf...what is the closest in age two siblings can be....
Just thinking too hard, and can't quite sum up the answer, assuming you waited the 6 weeks recommended PP, before  ....
I am not planning anything, just curious...anyway my DS is almost 5 months, so I can figure that one out

I know one of out mommies has children who are like 10 months apart (I think her 2nd was born a bit early)

10 - 11 months apart if you ovulate 2 weeks after giving birth and get pregnant, then add 40 weeks of pregnancy.

If you give birth on 12/15, and then wait the 6 weeks, that brings you to around 2/1...then you , and you would give birth again in November or so, so I guess 11 months?

Nope. The second could be born early.
Oh, right! So true, so i wonder what the record for this is??

Assuming you wait 6 weeks pp, get pregnant immediately and carry to full term....
6weeks + 40 weeks = 46 weeks aka 11.5 months (approximately)

My brother is August 5 and I came around the following July. My mom says she waited the 6 weeks! She has 2 of us in less than a year and another older brother less than 18 months before that.

HA HA HA...I gave birth on 12/14 DH and I were talking about how close together a friends babies are, and the pros and cons....not planning anything not preggo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine are 9 mths and 28 days apart.
My son was born a few weeks early, they would have been about 11 months apart.

My brother and I were born in the same YEAR!! We were both FT
He was born in January and I was born in December of the same year. We're the same age for 2 1/2 weeks

I had a baby May 8th 2007. 6 weeks to the day I got AF. 2 weeks after that I got pg. My baby was born 3/13/08
10 months 5 days apart.
They could have been closer if we before ever getting my 1st cycle.

AF means you're done ovulating, and getting rid of everything. You (almost) always ovulate first, then AF. That's why many women get PG before AF starts again after their previous PG, and girls can get pregnant before their first AF.

We have a record holder....
Jayne Bleackley is the mother who holds the record for the shortest interval between two children born in separate confinements. She gave birth to Joseph Robert on September 3, 1999, and Annie Jessica Joyce on March 30, 2000. The babies were born 208 days apart.
That would make them about 7 months apart...
