I need a place to buy inexpensive mattress. I need a queen and a twin.. Do you think if I go to a mattress store like sleepys they will give good discounts on the floor models if so how much off would they normally go?

In my experience, no the discounts on floor models at Sleepy's really are not that good. I would go to Big Lots and see what they have.

Re: mattress
Sleepys is the pits. We had multiple issues when we ordered a bed for our daughter.
I would try Bob's, Ikea or Sears.

Re: mattress
We just bought a full-size mattress for DD from Macy's. I never would have thought of them, but they are having close-out sales on many of the top brands right now and could get a good deal, like we did last weekend.
We went to the Macy's home store in Lake Grove (Smith Haven Mall) and got a set for $200 less than what BJs wanted and it was a Simmons Beautyrest firm mattress. They are delivering it tomorrow - so less than a week after purchase.

Look into the Slumber One brand on Walmart.com. We have two, and they've been great.

Re: mattress
BJ's has queens for for either 299 or 399 and twins for 79.99 Both kids have one and they are so much better than our super expensive sleep number.
