Mattress Pad
I have a question.
Our mattress is getting a bit old (We've had it for about 6 years). I want to wait until my inlaws to buy the new bedroom set they promised us for our wedding gift (back in 06 ) before we buy a new mattress.
My question is... Do you think its worth spending the money to buy a mattress pad for the time being? Do they make a difference at all in terms of softness? My mattress seems to be lacking in the softness factor & Its not as soft & cushiony as it once was.
Or should I just wait & save my money?

Re: Mattress Pad
it sounds like it may be a while (if ever) before your ILs buy the set, so i would definitely invest in a pillow-top mattress pad. they aren't too $$$$$, and the pillow top ones make a huge difference!

Re: Mattress Pad
I would get the pad for your bed now...you can always use it for your next bed. If you're getting the new bed really soon, then I'd wait.

ITA!!
We just got a feather bed (actually it's a fiber bed- instead of feathers it is hypo-allergenic fiber fill) and what a difference it made! The bed is SOOO comfy now.
