Mattress Question

i need a new mattress very badly! We have a king pillowtop and it is the most uncomfortable thing to sleep on. We have a platform bed so I didn't get a boxspring the first time. This time I do, but my DH says we will not be able to get a king size box spring into our room we have to bend the king matress a bit to get it in. Do they make box springs that are in 2 peices?

Re: Mattress Question

I'm almost postive all king size box springs are in 2 pieces. Almost like 2 twin size boxes.

Re: Mattress Question

King size box springs are typically sold as two pieces....talk with the store, and they will make sure its what you want, and what can be managed into your home.

Re: Mattress Question

My dh works for Sleepys...he says there are split boxsprings you can get. It's not additional...same price as a regular boxspring.

Re: Mattress Question

Our boxspring for our king bed is split, it's like two twin boxprings.

It was easier getting our king sized bed upstairs at our house than it was getting our old queen sized one up there (since it's just one big box spring).
