not by jones beach, but on the way to jones beach. you get off merrick road east from the wantagh and its about 3 blocks down on the right. before the east bay diner
east! not west
so from SI, you pass this park to get to jones beach?

you'd have to take the southern state pkwy to the wantagh parkway going south.. then you'd get off the merrick road exit going west and it's literally right there 
ETA EAST! not west

I'm hoping the rain holds out until Sunday instead of Saturday. Trying to convince one more friend to come if the weather cooperates, will keep you guys posted.
Victoria loves making cake pops so we may bring them. Otherwise I'll pick up something else that isn't already on the list
