may be a bit early but....
i am trying to time this ttc stuff. i know things usually dont go according to plan but...im a hopeless planner. so ok...my ideal is to have a baby june 2011. when would i have to get pregnant in order for this to happen?? september?? if so, when should i go off birth control? i was thinking this june just to get my cycles normal. i cant seem to wrap my head around this 9 months/10 months stuff.

You can't know how long it will take for your cycles to regulate after coming off BC and even once it does, how long it will take for you to determine when you are ovulating and then how many cycles it will take you to actually get pregnant. It's almost impossible to "plan" like that, unless you are already not on BC and are very aware of your cycles. And often times, not even then.
Good luck

ITA, unfortunately this ttc thing isn't an exact science. You can do everything right and and the perfect time and still not get pregnant. Good luck though!

I agree with the above ladies about it being near impossible to 'plan' unless you get very lucky. But if you are asking from a timing perspective, for june due date you would want your last period to be in September. Even then depending on when your period lands and how long your cycle is, it could be October. My last period was 9/5 and I'm due 6/12. You can google some conception calendars that will help.
Eta: when I ttc DC#1 I went off the pill for 6 months prior so I could get to know my cycle and body. There doesn't seem to be a 'right' answer to this though - doctors all have their different recommendations.
