May/June/July Gals - or BTDT Ladies???
my mom just asked what we'd like for Emma for Christmas - and i have NO CLUE....
what are you all doing for the holidays (however you celebrate them)???????
BTDT - what toys are appropriate and MOST FUN for a 6 month old??? Ones that can be used for a while are preferable (like 3 in ones, etc.)....
eta: we have an exersaucer, jumperoo, bumbo, activity table thingy...

DS #1 turned 6 mos right before Christmas so we were faced with this question as well. From experience, we found the best toys for him were one's he could sit in front of and that played music or had lights on it (ie. the Fisher Price Sound Stage or Piano) or ones that he could hold easier like soft blocks, small teethers, soft rattles. Anything from Baby Einstein went over really well with him. HTH.

Landon was May 08, so last year Xmas I asked for the following things which were used almost every day in the spring/summer. She might seem too young for these things now, but they grow up fast! And how many baby toys can you really have!

Ryan was a little older last Christmas but 6 months is probably a good age to get one of these - they seem to last a while too:

what i LOVE about this board is that we have so much of this stuff from the buy/sell/swap thread (most of it lives at my parents' house - their basement is like a toys r us)....so that the girls (my brothers' little girl) have things to do when we're there!
they have the laugh & learn home, superstar thingy.....a sit down piano thing...
