May Mommies To Be....

How is everyone doing? On the Expecting list there are so many of us!

Just wondering is everyone in Maternity clothes or still in your regular clothes?

Also is everyone finding out the sex? When do you find out?

Re: May Mommies To Be....

I am soo in maternity clothes, both now, pants and tops. I was in pants at 10 weeks.

I am feeling good, last night was my first night of insomia, don't know if was true insomnia or I was still excited about the babyChat Icon

Seems very real now!! I can't wait for the next 20 weeks to be over!!

Re: May Mommies To Be....

I'm doing well. 12 weeks and finally stopped having morning sickness. Still pretty tired.

I'm still in my regular clothes, but since that's just sweat pants and long sleeved tees, it's pretty easy to stretch over my belly. I'm showing a lot sooner this time (plus I didn't lose all the weight from Sarah before I got pregnant again). I am in my maternity jeans again.

We aren't going to find out the gender this time either.

ETA: Sorry, I didn't read the title right, I missed that you were just asking about May mommies.

Re: May Mommies To Be....

I am doing well, feeling pretty good.
I get a little cranky at night, but I think that is just because I am tired and refuse to go to bed.

Not in maternity clothes yet - I probably should be though!! I went out a couple of weeks ago and got 3 pairs of pants and few tops. I haven't started using the pants, but when we are having company or going out - I will wear the tops.

We decided that we are not going to find out - so we are in for the long haul.
We have a feeling that we are having a girl though. Guess we will find out the end of May.

We wnt to find out the sex, my level 2 sono is on January 4th. The OB thinks its a Chat Icon but is not 100% certain. We want to make sure before we register. I am not feeling well today, but overall no M/S and feeling pretty good.

Re: May Mommies To Be....

I'm in my 18th week Chat Icon and since this is my second, I've been in maternity clothes since 8 weeks Chat Icon I have been feeling great, but once again, have that incredible insomnia. I get up at night to pee around 2 or 3 a.m. and can't fall back asleep. It really kills me!

My Level II sono is on December 29th and we are going to find out this time. I can't wait! We already have a boy, so we're excited t find out if he'll have a brother or sister.

We'll think more about names once we know the sex, but I'm leaning towards Charles (Charlie) for a boy and Audrey or Claire for a girl.

Re: May Mommies To Be....

Definitely in maternity clothes now, pants since about 10 weeks and some shirts too. Was feeling pretty good except for this week. Crazy run down with all the christmas stuff and work. We're not going to find out the gender so we're having fun guessing what it feels like from day to day.

Re: May Mommies To Be....

Start my 18th week tomorrow. My level II sono is next Wednesday but we're not finding out the sex. I love a good surprise! Chat Icon
Feeling fine although I can't eat too much at once otherwise the food feels like it's trying to come back up my esophagus.
No insomnia here! I dream like crazy too....

Nobody at work had a clue that I'm PG (I just started telling people). My waist is much bigger so I'm wearing maternity pants, but my belly is only popping a little so I don't really look PG.
I had to buy new bras though; I went from barely a B to a full C! Chat Icon

DH and I are moving to Colorado soon, so I'll be having the baby there.

Ohh how was it there? Are they stringent on how many people can be in the room?

When I was there (May 2004), the first night of the 4 nights I was there (c/s), I was in a room with a roommate and it was overkill with the amount of people that came to visit me and my roommate. I had requested a private room upon admitting, but they didn't have any. The next day I had a roommate again that had like 10 people coming in with her as she was wheeled in from recovery! I was like Chat Icon , so I had my DH find out if there was a private room opening. There was, and they moved me ASAP (after DH showed them he paid for it!). Best choice ever! Will do it again in a heartbeat!

So to answer your question, they didn't seem to be stringent on how many people were in your room. I have no idea if anything has changed since then.
