Maybe I made a mistake with this pre-school snack

DS just started pre-school so tomorrow is my first time tomorrow as "class mom" (it's a co-operative school)..

I wanted to make a snack that hadn't been done recently.. so I made rice krispie treats..

And as a sat here eating one a few minutes ago.. I thought to myself.. OH CR*P.. DS is over 3.. but it's a 2-3 class.. some kids are his age.. some are like 2yr3months..

Maybe rice krispie treats weren't such a good idea? You think they're too hard for the littler kids to eat?

I'll bring them either way.. and I know they always have an alternate snack.

So much for making something different

I would think it's fine. I would give my son rice crispy treats and think nothing of it.

Don't worry about it, my DS is only 20 months old and had had rice krispy treats

They are cut into normal size squares.. (maybe 3 inches by 3 inches) should I maybe make them smaller like tiny bite size squares?

My DD's daycare class made xmas tree rice crispy treats and they are just 2 - 2 1/2. They all seemed to do fine eating them

no I think its a perfect snack for that age range!

Bring a sharp knife. You'll be fine as long as they're cut up small.
