Maybe I'm the worst mother-to-be
Or completely busy with my job, etc., but I swear, sometimes I just have moments where I'm like "Oh $%&*, I'm going to have a kid in a month"
PLEASE tell me at least one of you goes through this.
Like I forget that I'm just about 8 months pregnant.
Who forgets stuff like that??
The world's worst mother to be.
ETA: When I do realize that I'm pregnant, I get super excited. Just so you don't think I'm some kind of monster.

Nah... you aint bad.. you're just forgetful
I'm HORRIBLE I totally forget I'm preggo because I'm busy at work and I even forget I have a belly.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked into the end of my cubby with my belly. Not extra hard but enough to bounce me back a little. One guy saw me and started laughing at me. He said “How could you forget?”
I dunno. I’m 6months along and forgetful.

Maybe I'm in denial that he'll be here so soon.
I don't know.

Re: Maybe I'm the worst mother-to-be
the possibility of this does not exist.
it is IMPOSSIBLE for the word worst and mother to be on the same PAGE as you, let alone in the same sentence.
you DO rock.
you WILL rock.
that is a lucky lad. I can't wait!

You are too kind
I totally wasn't even looking for this.
I just wanted to know someone else sucked as bad as me
Maybe it's the lack of sleep and my fantasies of suffocating DH in his sleep while he lays there in splendid slumber.

Re: Maybe I'm the worst mother-to-be
I think this happens to all the busy bees that work up until the last minute, but my piece of advice is to get all of your stuff together before the baby comes, its hard when they're born to keep running to BRU or getting stuff organized around the house...and you're going to be a rockin mama!

Re: Maybe I'm the worst mother-to-be
You're definitely not!
I have moments too when i forget. Like when i wake up in the morning... it's not until i try to get out of bed that i'm like "oh yeah! There's the belly again!"
And because i've felt normal and so good throughout my whole pregnancy, it's very easy to forget sometimes because my pregnancy hasn't held me back from anything yet.
That doesn't mean you'll be a bad mother! Not at all!
So get those silly thoughts out of your head!

Re: Maybe I'm the worst mother-to-be
You are not even close to being the worst mother ever. Denial, maybe.
I think it's totally normal to forget. We get so wrapped up in what we're doing that we forget everything around us. Soon your little boy will be here and all you'll focus on is him.

Re: Maybe I'm the worst mother-to-be
Absolutely not. I still run for the train if I see it coming... I totally have moments like this. Your not a bad mom to be. Consider yourself lucky to be healthy enough with your pregnancy that you can have moments like those!
