Maybe someone can help me with this: TTC and anxiety meds....
So, hubby and I are going to start TTC this summer, but I am currently taking cymblata for my anxiety. Two questions: first, has anyone been on this and started TTC? and second, who should I call? the dr. who prescribed the cymbalta or my obgyn about when to stop taking it or continue it? Thanks!

I have not been on the medication - but I would definitely call the doctor. My friend was on Lexapro while preggo but she took such a minimal dose, the doctor said it was ok.

I was on zoloft for some time...It was my decision to ween off the drug 6 months before ttc...I actually never told my obgyn I was on the medication...But I have heard of others on low doses during their pregnancies.. but i would double check just to be sure
Good luck to you

Some of the anxiety meds are okay to use up until the 3rd trimester and some are okay to use throught your whole pregnancy -- I would check with both you GYN and primary care MD.
