TTC Anxiety

We suffered a miscarriage last month and I am totally obsessed with worry about TTC. I feel like I don't want to try because I don't want to face disappointment again...a negative test or god forbid another miscarriage. How can I kick this?

Re: TTC Anxiety

I was the same way for a month or two. I guess that is why they said to wait a month after a m/c. It will get better. I promise. Do you think you could take a break from TTC for a little while. Would that help? Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: TTC Anxiety

I understand exactly how you feel. I am in a similar situation and lately it has gotten easier to deal with. I have a few women in my life who have also had a m/c and talking to them has helped to ease some of my anxiety. For right now I am taking it easy and not actively TTC (no charting, etc.) With each day as I feel a little better, I seem to be becoming more comfortable with the idea of trying again. I also try to accept that it is going to take time to heal and that also helps me. Hope that helps and feel free to FM if you need to talk!
