Maybe someone here can give me some insight
For the past 2 weeks I have eatten better (healthier) than I ever have. Usually staying around 1300 calories. I have worked out atleast 5 days a week. Started running and doing insanity. Stepped on the scale and I am up 3lbs My period is not on its way, I am weighing myself at the same time each time. I just wanted to see a small weight loss to give me the motivation to keep going.
The only postive is that I finally fit into 1 par of pre pregnancy jeans and all my other clothes fit a lot better. But I am not at an ideal weight so although they say dont worry about the scale, I NEED to lose lbs.
What gives???? ANy ideas, advice, insight???? TIA

Try not the focus as much on the scale. You lost inches and that is amazing. Measure yourself to document your transformation. That will be great motivation.

Re: Maybe someone here can give me some insight
You're welcome! It really did help me too. I've been doing Insanity for 5 weeks (I'm starting month 2 tmr ) and I've only lost 5 lbs. However, I have lost inches. My stomach and love handles have gone down. My legs are rock hard and I am seeing definition in my arms. So you may not see a dramatic drop in the scale during the first month but that is ok. Go with how you feel and how your clothes feel. I've also heard that the major weight results usually come in month two. I previewed month two workout 1 and I can see why
