MAYO-DOES IT GO BAD
I am sure it does but how do you know? Would it be like milk you just know? It smells? I ahve some in the fridge, we rarely use it, and it was seperated a bit. I stirred it but it seems a bit watery. I just got back form the store

Is it organic mayo? That could be why it separated.
If not and it's the regular Hellmanns etc kind and it's looking weird I'd probably toss it. How old is it?

thank you both. I did toss it b/c it was not mayo consistency. It smelled and looked fine but I didn't want to take a chance. I just remembered we were having trouble with the fridge ans it was freezing everything. It probably froze and defrosted, that's why it's watery. All well I will go get a new 1.

Yes it does go bad and you can get very sick from bad mayo.
