meal ideas?
I was wondering if anyone had meal ideas that I could be feeding my 17 month olds. I feel like they eat the same 3 meals every other day. Maybe there is a cookbook you can suggest? I want them to be healthy kids, but I want to be able to feed them easily too...

There is a cookbook just for toddlers but I've found just feeding them what we're eating works best. Otherwise you wind up making separate meals for them or they get used to eating only toddler food.
We serve whatever we are having and include a veggie of something they like. If they don't eat the main course, they eat a lot of whatever they do like.
Results are: Maddie eats everything including salad. Joseph goes on a scavenger hunt on his plate to find something he likes & may not eat a lot at dinner & more at another meal.

Nah, just the 4 of us -- and 2 of should definitely be skipping meals.
My mom said the problem with twins is they unite & play off of each other. We did it all of the time. She tried her best to use my sister who was 4 years old older as a role model. When you have 1 twin saying "I don't like that.", you have to highly praise the twin who is the best eater otherwise your best eater will start with the "I dont like that". If you give the bad eater attention, then the good eater wants it too. I swear kids are like psych majors when it comes to playing their parents.
