Med clinic in Commack/Smithtown - new UPDATED RAVE!
Has anyone gone to the new kiddie clinic on 25 between Commack and the bull in Smithtown?
If so how was it? Do they take ins?
So I called them..they took my ins (Empire Plan) and I took DD. The dr. there is part of 2 other Immediate Med places, one in Lindenhurst and one in Brooklyn. They are affiliated with Good Sam and LIJ. They were amazing. The nurse and dr. were so kind they were so thorough, gave DD balloons, lolipops, stickers, etc. b/c she was hysterical for throat culture.
She thought my DD had coxsackie b/c of blisters in throat but wanted to be sure and ran a throat culture...it was positive for strep! I am so glad they just didnt jump to coxsackie b/c now she is on antibiotic and hopefully will feel better soon!
Their hours are amazing, and they really are good, kind and the place is immaculate.
I highly rec them! Heck, we came from Cavanaugh so I asked if they do well visits, and they do..so I may switch to her lol..
