Medela Pump and Save bags
Has anyone had a problem with BM going bad really quickly in these bags? I usually put all of my pumped milk in the fridge (usually in bottles) because it gets used within a couple days, or at most, a week. I know BM is good for 8 days in the fridge. I've never had a problem with spoilage. But I had about an ounce or 2 in a pump and save bag in the fridge for about 4 or 5 days and I took it out to make oatmeal and when I opened it, it smelled awful! SO I dumped it. That's never happened before with bottles. Anyone experience this?

Maybe it wasn't sealed all the way...I used them all the time and never had an issue.

I guess that's possible- I usually try to really make sure they're sealed all the way but it's not always that easy to tell if they are! I'll try to make sure- I hope it doesn't happen again!
