Medical procedure and TTC
Can you get novacaine for a filling while pregnant? I don't have a cavity (yet) but I have a spot that my dentist is worried about that he thinks should be cleaned out and filled. My appt isn't until 6/29 and I will be ovulating in the next few days. So, I'm wondering if I should just not try this month or just not worry about this tooth. Thanks!

GET IT FIXED NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a poster who tried putting it off until after she gave birth and had to have TWO emergency root canals with minimal anesthesia.
IF you are lucky enough to get PG this month, you won't implant for @ 10 DPO and that is @ 1 week before your dentist appointment. There should be no problems whatsoever.

O.k. the minimal anesthesia thing got me (I've never had a root canal or any dental problems!) and I will absolutely get it fixed this month. Thanks for the info! Maybe I'll just call tomorrow and make an earlier appt just to put my own mind at ease!

Re: Medical procedure and TTC
I just got a whole bunch of dental work done, and I told them that I was TTC and they said as soon as I get a BFP to let them know. Each time I go in now the dr. always asks "Any change in your health?"
