Medicated FET ladies who took Estrace
I was trying to do a natural FET last month. I had cysts and high estrogen so it didn't work out. New plan is a medicated FET. Estrogen is now normal and no cysts.
If you did a FET with Estrace: How long did you take it before they gave you a transfer date? I'm on it 3 times a day and have been on it for 5 days. I go back on Thursday which is CD 9 so I will be on it 8 days at this point. I think RE said if the lining is thick enough we could transfer in 6 days??? I would start progesterone suppositories. If not stay on Estrace a little longer. What lining number am I looking for? Is it above 10? Just want to hear other ladies experiences with how long they were on Estrace before a transfer date was given. If your lining wasn't thick enough how many days before you went back to get it checked again? Were you stil lon Estrace when you stated suppositories?

This is my second medicated FET and I started estradiol (the same thing I think) twice a day starting like my 2nd or 3rd day of my period and took that throughout and maintained it while on the progesterone suppositories. The last time I did it (which ended in a miscarriage) I stayed on the estradiol through a postive beta and whatnots, and if I recall my doc said that I would have come off the estradiol before stopping progesterone if everything had progressed normally. (I asked because holy moly does the estrogen make me crazy!!)
Additionally, I forgot what number is good for lining, but I think by about 10 days or so (could be more, I am terrible at remembering) I had a schedule for transfer. My RE's office pretty much just gives you a schedule once they have the lining set, so I am sure you will get your date soon!

Last FET I did 10 days of estrogen (4 pills a day, 2 orally and 2 vaginally), then progesterone for 5 days, then transfer. I think my lining was only a 7, which was good enough for Dr. B.
The estrogen continued through the progesterone days... through transfer... through beta... and I think it would have continued until about 8 weeks... but only made it to 5.5 weeks. And I never had hot flashes like I did on estrogen!!

Im pretty sure I did estrace 15 days before starting progesterone. Started with 2 pills a day for 5 days, 4 pills a day for 5 days, then 6 pills a day for 5 days. Continued with 6 pills a day with PIO for 6 days then transfer. Continued PIO and 6 pills of estrace until 10ish weeks.

Thanks for the info! Around 10 days seems like what they are thinking but I guess its all up to my lining. I hate not knowing what is going on. I'm planner and a worrier. My last cycle got canceled so I'm hoping all looks good!

Thanks for sharing. 10 days seems like what their plan is for me but its all up to the lining. Your lining was 7 at the check before progesterone started or at the transfer? Ahh I hope I don't get hot flashes. I've been on it previously and didn't have any but who knows what can happen.

I took Estrace from day 2 of my cycle through 8-9weeks of pregnancy. My FET was always around day 19 of the cycle(or 20 since I wanted a certain doctor to do it). I was on it twice a day. I would begin progesterone 5 days before transfer so around day 14 of my cycle.

Thanks! So you were on it for about 12 days. Do you remember what your lining was when you went in for your first check after being on the Estrace and what it was when they approved you to start Progesterone?

Nope. my lining has never been a problem. It was part of my initial protocol.
