Re: Medifast?

I did medifast a few years ago. I lost 20~ something pounds in a month. The problem was I started getting bored and adding little things here and there into my one meal (i.e. a few sprinkles of cheese, etc). The weight immediately came back. I ended up gaining the weight back and more.

I ended up going on to Winthrop hospital for their weight management program in January. This program is an exclusive liquid diet and I lost 90 pounds since then.

Medifast can be great if you stick to it and have good support. If you have any questions please feel free to FM me.

I tried it and did lose a good amount of weight, but like the previous poster, i too gained it all back and more as soon as I stopped. Personally, I don't find it to be a realistic long-term plan and I don't think the weight loss is maintainable. At first, i didn't mind the food, but the longer I did it, I would get sick at the thought of eating another shake or pudding or bar... yuck!!
