Re: Meet the Barkers...
I love the mohawk, and I love when he was eating all that asparagus on thanksgiving. I think it is amazing that she has energy to get on a plane and show him the new scrapbook she did but she can't carve a freakin pumpkin

I think the pumpkin thing was more about (I totally could be wrong) she didn't want her daughter touching and playing with a knife. Cause she even said You arent playing with a knife. And then she put it up and the kid went and reached for it (didn't she climb up on a chair or something to get it)

no you are right, but it was a kids carving set, I could see the girl not doing it solo, but with a parent if should be fine

Re: Meet the Barkers...
The Mohawk I think is cute...but Janice pretty much summed up how I feel about Shanna! Seems like one of those people who is a mother but not much of a PARENT...
then again, I don't personally know her. But that's what it seems to me.

Re: Meet the Barkers...
I haven't seen many of the episodes but it seems to me that she's not too into her daughter (the one from Oscar), that little girl seems to get lost in the shuffle

Re: Meet the Barkers...
I always get a kick out of the beginning of the show.
Shanna-a great mom and a talented actress, goes to her show..."My mother was deaf" that gets me everytime

yesterday Travis walked in the house and walked right past the poor thing! I think he said hi but then ran to Shanna & Landon!

I think Donna summed it up - the way it appears on the show, is that neither Shanna nor Travis could be bothered with her daughter. I understand a baby/toddler requires more attention - but that poor girls seems to get lost in the shuffle.
