Menapour vs. Gonal-F and Follistim

I got my protocol for my IVF from my RE today, actually I went over it with the nurse. But he has me on Menapour for stim. I know a lot of ladies have used follistim or gonal-f instead and am a little worried. Has anyone used Menapour? What was your experience? I tend to think I will stim pretty well. I ovulate very regularly and produced 3 follies on 50 mg of clomid. But I am concerned about the menapour b/c I seem to remember reading some negative comments about it. Thanks!!

I just had my 1st IVF and was put on both Menopur and Follistim, as well as Ganorelix...I started w/ 10 days BCP, then Follistim then toward the end added the Menopur along w/ the Ganorelix...I stimmed pretty well, 13 eggs at ER (of which only 4 fertilized unfortunately)...I have a mild case of PCOS...That was my experience...HTH !

Thanks Bops! Best of luck to you I take BCP for 10-15 days then Menapour and then Ganreolix.

I used Menopur....and have had great results.
My RE said Menopur helps you to get better quality eggs, whether it is, I dont know.
