Menu ideas for football theme 1st b-day
I need some help...any ideas?
ETA: I am definetely doing heroes with salads. But I would like 3 or 4 hot dishes. Not sure what to make/order for the hot dishes???
For apps I was thinking spinach dip, 7 layer mexican dip, pigs in a blanket, chips and dip. Any other ideas?

Re: Menu ideas for football theme 1st b-day
Football makes me think of wings and beer... which is fine for the adults.. but obviously a challenge for the littles. I'd serve Root Beer to the kids who can have soda (or Root Beer Floats) - and maybe make some mild buffalo chicken nuggets for them by combining mild wing sauce with some blue cheese as a dip instead of coating in the sauce. They'll probably opt for the ketchup.. but at least it's there!
A nice hearty chili is good - served with toasted johnny cake - and maybe some ribs.

Buffalo Chicken Dip For the kids I think Purdue makes football shaped nuggets.
