Menu ideas for Mother's Day brunch
For probably 7 people.
I'm thinking quiche (few varieties), salad, not sure what else. I'm at a loss.
I'm not a big entertainer, so I don't have many ideas.

Re: Menu ideas for Mother's Day brunch
Here is a great recipe...it's very easy, you put it together the night before and then bake it that morning.
If you don't like peaches, you can get cinnamon raisin bread from the super market (waldbaums has a nice one in the bakery department, not sliced) and you can put extra raisins in the bottom of the pan in stead of peaches.
PEACHES – N- CRÈME FRENCHTOAST
½ c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 2 TBSP corn syrup (kayro – white) 29 oz can peaches (drain and slice into pieces) 1 loaf French bread cubed (can substitute w/Italian) 8 oz Philly cream cheese, cut into small chunks 12 eggs 1 ½ c. half & half 1 tsp vanilla
In small saucepan: Melt butter, brown sugar & kayro syrup until bubbly
-Pour into greased 9 x 13” pan -Top w/peaches -Spread cubed bread over top -Cream Cheese over top
Blender: combine eggs, half & half, vanilla
-Pour egg mixture over cream cheese/bread layers -Cover & refrigerate overnight
Bake 350 degrees uncovered for 50-60 minutes

Re: Menu ideas for Mother's Day brunch
For brunch I like this:
Coffe Tea Milk Juice Mimosa's
French Toast Scrambled eggs Fresh fruit Bacon Sausage Yogurt Ham...I love making a Cracker Barrel ham so it's not much more for me plus we use the bone for ham soup Oatmeal walnut/pear salad Bagles Cream Cheese/Jam
Then I pull out a pie or 2 pund cake and whipped cream
I LOVE brunches, but they are a lot of work......
