Menu Thread - 7.20.14

Sunday- Going to our friends for 'Lobster Fest'

Monday- Skinny Spinach and Artichoke Chicken

Tuesday- Tomato Avocado Burgers

Wednesday- Buffalo Chicken Quinoa Bake

Thursday- Grilled Chicken and Asparagus Roll-ups

Friday- Going out with friends.

Saturday- Little brother's birthday BBQ.

Sun - I don't know, we might be heading to the in-laws Chat Icon

Mon - Cheese and bean quesedillas/salad

Tue - grilling soy dogs and vegetables

Wed - TJ'S Harvest Grain Blend with tomatoes, zucchini and eggplant added to it

Thu - Pasta with vodka sauce/salad

Fri - probably ordering out

Sat - booze cruise

Sun - seared salmon, roasted cauliflower, tricolor quinoa and 2 bean salad

Mon - zucchini lasagna rollups with homemade sauce, salad

Tues - burritos/quesadillas with refried beans and cheese, tomatoe/cucumber/avocado salad

Weds - leftovers?

Thurs - crockpot minestrone recipe but with brown rice instead of pasta

Fri - out with bf later but kids will get Mac and cheese and chicken fingers with cut up veggies

Monday: Southwest turkey sandwiches, oven fries
Tuesday: Chicken tortilla soup, salad
Wednesday: Shrimp tacos, rice
Thursday: Tomato basil chicken and spaghetti
Friday: Sweet chili salmon, pan fried noodles
Saturday: Shrimp oreganata, tomato quinoa

I have a feeling I'm going to get lots of great ideas from these threads Chat Icon

Mon- Sauteed italian sausage, rice pilaf, green salad
Tues- Buffalo turkey burgers, baked beans, caprese salad
Wed- Burrito pie and corn on the cob
Thurs- at ILs
Fri- Wedding
Sat- out for a bachelorette party

Sunday: Ate at Cracker Barrel on the way home from Lake George Chat Icon

Monday: Chicken Scaloppini with Asparagus.

Tuesday: Eating with my parents

Wednesday: Chicken, Kale and Spinach Burgers with homemade fries.

Thursday: Grilled Chicken, brown rice and salad.

Friday: Beef Wellington, Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus

Saturday: Having friends over - going to make cold tortellini salad and a cold cut platter to make their own sandwiches/wraps.

Tuesday- Turkey BLTs with Lettuce wraps

Wednesday- Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta Bake

Thursday- leftovers

Friday- Grilled a chicken with Mango Salsa salad

Saturday: BBQ with friends

Menu Thread - 7.20.14

Monday: steak and onions, oven roasted potatoes, frozen veggie blend seasoned with butter salt and pepper

Tuesday: Turkey Meatloaf, cauliflower mash, corn

Wednesday: carne asada fajitas

Thursday: stuffed chicken wrapped in turkey bacon, maple glazed carrots, asparagus

Friday: leftover or Spaghetti with turkey sausage

Saturday: leftover if I make spaghetti or grilled pesto pizza sandwiches (thanks to the poster who posted that recipe, delicious and easy!!)

Sunday: Pork Gyoza and Shrimp Gyoza (made 'em myself)

Monday: BBQ ribs (started off in crock pot) with coleslaw

Tuesday: Parmesan Soup with cannelini beans, spinach, and orichette. Served also with Abendbrot (German dinners with cold cuts, cheese, and bread; I did Prosciutto and Parmesan cheese)

Wednesday: Fried Zucchini flowers served with Abendbrot (I'm slowly starting to like ham cold cuts...)

Thursday: Honey Sriracha chicken with broccoli and rice

Friday: Out

Saturday: Indian grilled shrimp skewers and a side salad


Sunday: Salmon of some sort with grilled veggies

I can't find kale here, so I just used spinach. I used a can of cannellini beans 'cause it was easier than fresh beans. I cooked some orichette (I cooked a cup and a half, dried) and threw that in at the end.

I also had 12 ounces of rinds, so I used 9 cups of water. I always save rinds in the freezer, but the author of this recipe suggests that you can buy them in the city. Oh yeah, don't forget to use cheesecloth for the rinds-- clean up is ten times easier this way.
