If a baby is crying, at least you know they're breathing.... With our first DS, DW would get freaked out when we were driving and he was crying.

1 - Whatever works for you - unless it's no longer working for you. Then go to #2
2 -Reevaluate, come up with a different plan & follow step #1 again.

put them to bed BEFORE they fall asleep..they have to learn to put themselves to sleep..otherwise you'll be a slave to rocking them to sleep and when you have more than one that could take hours!

Grow a thick skin when it comes to other people's comments (still working on this one)

Just because your two year old puts pillows on the floor before jumping off the bed doesn't mean he still won't get hurt.
And just when you think they are still too little to roll right off your bed while you quickly go into the other room to answer the phone, check the floor!
