Met my OBGYN today - at 32 weeks pregnant!
and i loved him! i was so scared to chose a male obgyn (i've ALWAYS had female drs.) but he was one of the few who took my insurance and didn't have a problem treating me so late in my pregnancy. you'd be surprised how many dr's turned me away, despite having a legitimate reason for switching dr's! (moving from NY to IL!)
he said everything looks great, was able to tell that the baby's head was down and gave me some great info about the hospital where i'll be delivering at. all in all the visit was fantastic and i couldn't be happier! woo hoo! 52 days to GO! ahhhh

that's great-- I can't believe how many docs turned you away.
I too had to switch to a male doc for my pregnancy because I am high risk-- I don't know how I feel about seeing a male doc long-term, but for now it's fine. It feels different with pregnancy for some reason.

That's great Lupe! I never even thought about the fact that with moving so late you'd have to switch drs.....duh.  I'm so glad you liked him.

I switched at 32 weeks also-I am very happy with my new practice. I think I'll even meet all the Dr's I'm on #3 today.
