just when i gave up and was coming in from the deck outside, i saw one...and then one more  totally NOT the display i was expecting, but soooo worth it...  now, lets take bets on how long it will take for my nose to defrost...

i woke up around 1:40 and went out the back door to look but didn't see anything happening either. I couldn't wait it out--- too tired--- so I went back to bed. DH looked too but didn't see anything.

I saw one on my way to work yesterday morning!!!! My drive includes a large stretch where there's an open field, and I saw one right in front of me (P.S. I leave for work at 6:30, so it's still nice and dark).
I thought it was a shooting star (but it was wayyyy too bright), so I looked it up when I got home!
