Miami Beach Hotel Recs please!!!!!
Almost booked the Shelbourne until I read many bad reviews....was thinking the Marriott Courtyard...it looks pretty nice! CAn't go wrong with a chain, KWIM?
ANyone else have recs on Collins Ave?

G - Jim and I stayed at the Lowes. It was a very nice hotel. It wasn't spring break Miami, but more grown up Miami. Much nicer than anything I have ever stayed at in Miami. It's way north of the "hotspots" on Collins but it's only a couple minute walk.
I stayed at the Shelbourne. It wasn't that bad, but I also went when I was 22 years old. Let's say that my standard in hotels has changed a bit since then. ;)
KQ, D and myself stayed at the Park Central a couple years ago. That place was VERY small, but at that place you are in the middle of everything as soon as you walk out the door.
I don't know if you know this, but mine and Jim's first date was actually in Miami. We traveled for a work trip together and now here we are.

Lowes is undergoing construction...that was my first choice from my TA....
Booked the Courtyard...it used to be the Cadillac...got great reviews so we'll see!!!

LOVED Lowes... stayed there a few times for work and it's a beautiful hotel. Too bad it's under construction. It's probably pricey, but what about the Delano
