Miami hotels

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Miami that's right by the beach and in the middle of all the action?

TIA!!

Re: Miami hotels

I stayed at the South Seas Hotel for my bachelorette party. It was right on Collins-right on the beach. If I had to reccommend anything- I would say check out the Lowes. It was probably the nicest hotel Ive seen there.

I personally thought that anything on Collins was a little further away from all the "action". If you really want to be in the middle of it all, I suggest staying at a hotel on Ocean Drive. It is right across the street from the beach but in the heart of it all. I hope this makes sense. Miami was great, but I think my expectations was way too high before my visit. Im still a total Vegas lover.

Definitely look into The National & the Cordoza. Both great places!
