Michael's Moose A Moose 1st birthday Party - reviews and pic overload
Michael's 1st birthday party was today at Grimaldi's in Garden City. What an awesome venue for a party. Great food (and lots of it), great service, and super affordable.
Entertainment - Rockaroo Entertainment (find them on Facebook). Matty Roxx is amazing. We've seen him at other parties and kids love him and his music.
Favors - Moose A Moose authentic stuffed animals and twisty straws from Nickelodeon universe.com. Personalized Moose coloring books from Etsy
Birthday Shirt - there's not much out there for boys. We changed him into his shirt for the cake. It's from FlyDuds on etsy. Great shirt, terrific quality and super cute. I'm sure he'll be wearing it a lot.
Labels- the infamous AndreaP designs. Andrea did all the labels for the dessert table, candy bags, and thank you sign
Moose and Zee characters on a stick - ampdesigns on CraftisArt.com
Cake - Cakes by Sousa (facebook) - cake was delicious and Joann was super easy to work with.
Not pictured - I bought Moose and Zee lottery scratch off tickets from a vendor on etsy. The adults loved it and it gave them something to do. Winners were awarded with real scratch offs.
The dessert table was a hit. I made all of the chocolate and baked items. All of the melting chocolates were bought at Sundae Palace in New Hyde Park, as were the #1 lolllipop molds and oreo molds. Jelly beans, rock candy and m&ms were from OhNuts.com. I also had mini assorted hershey bars that were wrapped in Moose and Zee wrappers. Bought the graphic on etsy and printed them myself. I scored the galvanized buckets from ikea for 5 dollars and the smaller ones from target in the dollar deals section. I love the cupcake tower I bought from wilton. It's collapsible so it doesn't take up much room and made of real thick plastic.
Thanks to everyone on here I got tons of great ideas for the party and overspent! ha! totally worth all the time, effort, and $.
