Michael's or AC Moore birthday party?

DD is going to be 5 in May. She is very into arts and crafts and I'm looking for an affordable place for her birthday party. Anyone ever been to or had a party at Michael's or AC Moore? It looks cute :)

Yes! I did this for DD's birthday too! It was very reasonable cost-wise and it turned out well. We did a gingerbread party. I had to buy the supplies at Michael's, but I did all the prep=work at home so it went smoothly. We didn't do a "meal" just cupcakes. The room was VERY tight for the group we had of like 15 kids plus parents.

OMG crazy I was JUST coming on to ask about this!!

DD is turning 7 and wants a birthday party. We've only ever done family parties because our house isn't really conducive to having a bunch of kids in it. Having one out is SOOO expensive, but I just heard about Michael's and AC Moore. I would LOVE to hear some more feedback about either too!!

We did it at Michael's in Riverhead. The room was only $50 to rent

thanks! I"m going to look into Michael's in Bay Shore. What did the party consist of? Just "hey, let's make this craft!" and then cake?? did the host do any kind of games or anything ?
