Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toy review: Save your $$

I have 3 kids so Ive seen some crappy toys, useless toys, toys that look good on TV but dont work, etc. This one takes the cake and Im so disappointed bc my DD loves the show and the toy looked adorable. Here's what s*cks about it:

1) Slide and door entry are detachable. But they barely stay on to begin with, I sneezed near it and the slide fell off. Not a good toy for a 2 year old.

2) You have to put the characters on a certain spot for them to talk. There is only one way to put them on. The pin inside the base pushes in and it comes to life. But the spot where you put the character doesnt allow for you to push down on the character with bigger feet (Donald Duck, Goofy) -its basically impossible to use these figures with the house

3) Characters will sometimes make the sounds of the other character. Daisy barks, Donald talks like Minnie Mouse. It happens alot, she just opened it yesterday and Im ready to toss it out.

4) Minor problem but just adds to the poor quality of the toy: Picture on the box shows a table that is behind the characters. Its really the best spot to put this little table bc other spots on the toy pop up - in reality, the table doesnt even fit where they show it in the display. Just plain silly, I dont know what went wrong with this toy but Im definitely emailing the company and writing a Toys R Us/Amazon review.

Save your $$

What a huge disappointment this turned out to be, it had such potential to be cute too.

Ugh figures, I have not opened mine, but I was hoping it would be cute for my boys since they love the show.

How did you even find one? I searched high and low, and then read some reviews that it was crap. Now I am convinced based on your review. I am glad I didn't waste any more time trying to find it. Sorry it sucks...

My 8 y/o niece just got one for Christmas (not from us...) I'll have to see how it works for her.

I am so glad you posted this. I really wanted to get it for Molly but she had so many other things already.
