Microfiber couches with pets
Do any of you have a microfiber couch with a pet?
We are torn between a micorfiber sectional and a leather.
DH thought our cat's fur might stick to a microfiber sofa (like static cling).
Also, I know if she scratches leather, it's pretty much ruined, but what about microfiber? We have a printed chenille sofa now, and luckily you can barely see where she has scratched it!

I Have a microfiber couch and 2 cats
1 of my cats sheds alot so her fur gets on the couch (its red) I just sticky roll it every night.
They have not scracthed the couch once
Its very easy to clean, so that is a plus. We love our couch!!

We have microfiber and a dog that sheds alot. The hair comes right off, as does the stains.

I have microfiber and 2 cats.....and it is great! The hair just kind of sits on top of the cushions..it doesn't get embedded like it use to on our old couches. I use the lint brush and it is gone! Also my big boy isn't very hygenic and likes to track the litter on to the couch...it wipes up with a damp cloth no problem!

I have a BIG dog that sheds ALOT. I had a microfiber couch that I swear attracted the hair. Yes, it did wipe away easily, but it always looked a mess. I have since gotten rid of the microfiber and got leather. Hair is not a problem now.

I have a microfiber sectional with pet and a 1yr old.
I have to say its holding up pretty well... a lot better than I thought. Easy to clean.
Also very comfy!

I've had ours for 5 years and wish I would have gone leather. It definitely attracts the hair.

I have microfibre and i have two cats. We just vacuum often and they don't really go on the couches much. I would be too afraid to get leather b/c of them scratching it and ruining it.

This is my fear too. We have a leather accent chair now, that she doesn't really touch, but we don't sit on it that often. She is ALL over us when we are on the couch so I am a little worried if she darts across it that it will get scratched / punctured!
