Microsoft Vista question..
My computer with windows XP crashed this weekend, it needs a new high drive - so it is worth it to replace, I see Emachines so cheap, I only use the computer for fun anyway. My question is , is there a big difference between Vista Basic and Vist Premium? It is a $50.00 difference in the 2 I am looking at.

I don't know the difference, but I hate vista. I would go for windows XP if that is an option.

I HATE my vista. If you get ac omputer through dell they can still put XP in it. We just did it at work.
Be careful with E-Machines. They aren't the greatest-which is why they are usually cheaper
