Mid-week birthday parties?
How do we feel about them? What would be a good time for the party?
Would you feel it's more convenient for it to be during the week if it was close to Christmas?
DD's birthday is the Dec. 20th, so the weekend after is out. I'm debating the weekend before or on her actual birthday, which is a Monday.
TIA!

Re: Mid-week birthday parties?
Honestly, I think a midweek party may be hard for a lot of people. DH & I get home at around 5:00 and I think that is on the early side. We try to have DS in bed by 7:30-8 so that's not a lot of time.
It would probably depend on how close I was to the person. If it was close family or friends and it wasn't too far away I probably would go but otherwise I'd likely skip it.
I think you are probably better doing it the weekend before.

I wouldn't be a fan because DH and I both work FT in the city and get home on the late side. It would be very hard for us to make it.

I'd do the weekend before. Too many people work during the week.
