And I smiled when I read your last reply - I had the SAME talk with my boyfriend when we started dating years ago - we WILL be married in a Greek church and babies WILL have saints names and baptized Greek Orthodox. Bless his heart, he didn't (and knows better than) complain  You can't take the Greek out of the girl!!!!! And now I am so excited that my baby will have some of my culture in her name. Now let's hope it's a girl because I will have t odo this all over again with boy's names! THANKS AGAIN FOR THE CHAT AND SUGGESTIONS!!!!

It is - my DD is half Greek (me 100%) and she is Ava Nicole. Yesterday was the name day for Nicole so she went and got blessed at the church. DIDN'T LIKE IT! . It is a great tradition though. DH does not understand why people have name days. I told him people call from Greece to wish happy name day to us. He just

It's so funny... if you aren't Greek - you just don't get it. But luckily, my boyfriend is smart enough to not question me and just go with it!!! HAPPY BELATED NAME DAY TO AVA NICOLE!!!!

I agree with you - those are our favorites too!!! Everyone has been so nice giving suggestions - now we have more choices than we could have imagined!!!! And I got to meet some Greek ladies which is always fun
