DS I started at 10.5 month and slowllly weaned him and he was fully on milk at 11.5 months. DD was on soy milk at 11 months because she had no intresest in BF anymore.

We started doing a little milk in the bottle mixed w/ formula at 11 months and then slowly added more & more till it was all milk. They were transitioned by 12 months.

DD # 1 I went right to milk, no transition around 10 1/2 months...
DD # 2 is only 8 months and is already showing signs of weaning and she won't drink formula, was wondering if anyone started earlier than 10 months??

12 months when the last can of formula ran out... cold turkey to milk. They had no problems transitioning.

Ped said 11 1/2 months. One bottle a day for three days, two bottles a day for three days, etc. until totally on milk.

Since DD wasn't a big eater our ped waited until she was 12 months to do the switch.

I started introducing him to milk around 12 months... I still have some formula left so I just keep mixing... I am in no rush since formula has more nutrients than milk...

11 months when we were away and it's all that was available. For the next month she drank both and at a year was on milk only.

12 months- with no transition. He took to it w.o a problem.
We also give 2% at the rec. of my ped. So far so good
