milk and a bad cough?

My dd is sick and has a bad cough. She has a slight fever. SHe wont eat anything or drink anything. She however is asking for milk. Is it ok to give her or will it make her cough worse? I want to give it to her since it will fill her up a little and she will get some kind of fluids.

ANy ideas?

If she won't drink juice or water or eat soup or jello I would definitely let her have some milk -- her need for hydration would be a priority over the worry for having her cough more.

I agree. Definitely try for other fluids, but if the only thing she will take is milk, let her have milk. Dehydration will be a bigger issue than a cough.

I def agree. I dont want her being dehydrated. THank you for agreeing it makes me feel better
