Milk/Food Dilema

My son just turned 6 months today. He has been eating cereals, carrots, and peas, and I plan on slowly introducing fruits soon. I still plan on B/F till he turns 1. What is everyones eating schedule? Sometimes I feel as if I am giving him too much food and not enough milk. He seems to only be drinking around 18-20 oz of milk a day. Is that enough? It also seems harder for me to even keep producing that much milk. I posted on Kellys mom, but figured i could get some good input here as well.

Do you give him milk first or food? I always nursed first & then gave them food (as per my pediatrician's advice).

Sorry I can't recall how much they are supposed to drink in one day.Chat Icon

I like to feed him first and then pump, but that is not always the case. I like to have a few bottles to fall back on, so I try to pump in the morning before DS wakes up becuase I get the most milk in the morning. I hate the fact that as the day goes on, I produce very little.
