Re: Mini Vans / Suv's

We have a Honda Odyssey. We absolutely love it. The EX-L version has sliding power doors as well as variable cylinder management (saves gas). It also has great storage capacity, it is a great ride and very reliable! We drove from Texas to NY with no complaints.

The touring model is the top of the line and has a power rear door. My husband and I call it the 10k dollar button because the Touring model is so much more expensive than the EX-L with almost all of the same features.

This website has great information on all car types so you can research the features that matter the most to you! http://wikicars.org/en/Main_Page

BTW, if you buy certified pre-owned Honda Odyssey's, they are NOT that expensive. We bought a 2005 with 40k miles for under 15k. We bought it directly at the Honda dealership and paid an extra $700 for extended warranty until 100k miles. They also had a 2007 Touring class with 20k miles for 21k. So make sure to negotiate. Re: Mini Vans / Suv's

chevy tahoe with the 3rd row option.

We were doing all 3 seats in the 2nd row and that was hairy.

then we put the 3rd row in for a family trip to the aquarium.....MUCH better. I have my older two all the way in the back- 1 in a 3 in 1 booster with 5 point harness and the other in a forward facing convertible.

The baby is in the 2nd row in a rear facing convertible.

Alas, there is hardly any trunk space, BUT my Combi double stroller DOES fit in there as well as an umbrella stroller....but nothing else.

Re: Mini Vans / Suv's

We have the Chrysler Town & Country Touring edition and love it (well, as much as I can love a minivan Chat Icon ). It's SO roomy, the Stow & Go is fantastic, the one-touch open/close feature for both sliding doors AND the trunk is awesome, and best of all, a very highly rated vehicle for safety.

DD's in the 2nd row (in Captain's Seat)...when we have Baby #2 he/she would go in the other one. Right now, we keep both Captain's Seats up and the 1/3 seat in the back...that way groceries go in the "hole" that seats leaves, and the other 2/3 of the seat we lay flat for stroller, etc.
