Miscarriage question

Obviously, you are all parents on this board...so I am seeking encouragement. How many of you had a miscarriage in the past, but then went on to a successful pregnancy? I miscarried this morning, and I need some hope for the future. If you don't want to post you can FM me. I would appreciate it.

My doctor told me to wait three due to the hyperemisis G. and D&C. Most dr.'s reco. 2 cycles.

Re: Miscarriage question

I miscarred at 6 weeks... went in for my follow-up visit with my doctor who told me to wait 2-3 months... as all the ladies on here know, while I was sitting in his office as he told me this, I was ALREADY pregnant again - I conceived just about 1 week after my miscarriage... it's the most devastating thing in the world to m/c, but take heart in knowing that is unbelievably common, and you WILL go on to have a healthy pregnancy... just be careful because you are particularly fertile right after an m/c, so if you don't want to try again soon, use protection!

Re: Miscarriage question

I miscarried at 5 weeks 3 days in July. We were going to wait 3 cycles but I got pregnant the end of Aug. You have to do what makes you comfortable. Some people say to wait 3 months for the emotional factor. It has to be your choice.

i miscarried in July 2005 and got pregnant again in October 2005. I had to take provera to jump start my period, but it only took 1 cycle to get pregnant again.
