Missing savings bond?
So for DS first birthday MIL gave him a card that had a printed out paper indicating that she purchased a savings bond for him. It didn't look like all the other papers that we have received with his other bonds, so I don't know if that has anything to do with this story or not.
His party was 2 months ago and we have not received this bond in the mail yet.
In the past, whenever we received a card saying we should expect a bond, it usually comes pretty quickly.
Do you think we should say something to MIL? I would hate for her to have spent money on a bond for DS and have him not get it.
How long does it normally take to receive a savings bond? I am thinking that too much time has passed and that there may be a problem but wanted to get some other opinions.

On the print out she gave you.. does it have a serial # or certificate #, i would just call the place it was issued and tell them the # and see if they can track it down.

Well, that's the problem. I threw out the printed paper because it really didn't have any information on it. It looked like it was printed off a computer and didn't have any specific info on it.
