Missing Teen from Commack - updated!
He goes to school with my SS and DH knows him also - please share and pray that he is OK
Update: he has made contact with his family online and is unharmed. Thank you everyone for your thoughts

Missing Teen from Commack - please share and pray
I used to work in the school the mother works at- very sad. They said he was last seen at the King's Park train station with his friend. Nobody has said anything about the friend, though. I assume he is safe, otherwise he would also be said to be missing. I wonder what happened that he and the friend separated?

Yes, unfortunately he is still missing. Yesterday was his 17th birthday. We are so worried. He is a really good kid, working towards becoming an Eagle Scout, not a kid in trouble etc. He was last seen at the train station - a friend dropped him off - did not go with him to get on a train. It is the friend who informed police of that information.

Have they checked the train station videos? I hate to say it, but it wouldn't be the first time that a teen did harm to another teen, then lied to cover it up.
I also wonder if they have checked his social media accounts. It's also not unheard of for teens to run off to meet up with people they met online.
I think the tapes will be a vital part of finding him (if the train station has them)
I'm praying he is found safe

I don't know what the police investigation has entailed, but I would think (I hope) they have looked into all of these things.
