Missy Elliott!
I love loved Missy's performance but Katy Perry sounded awful trying to sing one of her songs. Personally I thought Katy Perry was not good but then again it was a performance so .........

I thought the whole halftime show sucked. Katy did her usual and was over the top with her weird props and set. Lenny Kravitz was nothing special. Missy was a throw back but I've never been a big fan. And Katy looked so ridiculous and fake trying to sing along to Missy. It was laughable.

I LOVED HER!!!! I was literally just saying the other day how I missed her and wished she would come out with something new. I'm really hoping that was her way of kicking off a new album or something!

I'm a big Missy fan, her collaborations with timberland and Magoo in the 90's were IMO some of the best hip hop ever recorded. I thought she delivered a great performance for half time.
Maybe I'm getting older than dirt, maybe I'm not cool anymore, I don't consider myself to be very conservative but isn't the Super Bowl a family oriented event?
My FB page was loaded with families with their young kids watching the Super Bowl.
Are Missy's lyrics appropriate for a sports event?
My kids are adults but I was much less offended by Janet Jackson's nipple a few years ago. Most little kids have seen a nipple, some more closely than others but I don't know if they need to know the lyrics of "work it."
Not that Katy Perry's weird azz beach ball titties were any better.
If I'm a lame prude, you can tell me.

No, I agree. My DD is way too young to have any clue what Missy was saying but I was annoyed at Katy's beach ball boobs. I really didn't think that was appropriate, especially when the rest of the theme behind her looked very kid orientated. Just a really tacky combo.
I can't stand Katy and think she has an awful voice also. Her part of the half time show was lame.
